Skit for the Vietnam War

Good Morning from CNN News. I’m Grace Koclar reporting to you from New Delhi, India about the Vietnam War. The unfortunate event of the Vietnam war was caused by the two different needs of governments in the North and South. Almost 60,000 soldiers killed and more than 300,000 wounded in the sixteen year war. The Vietnam war took place in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia between the North Viatneamese with the National Liberation Front and the United States on the side of the South Vietnamese. The war began in 1959, only a few years after the country received its independence from France. The North was anti-French and fell under Communist rule, while the South was ruled by those who favored the French. America sent in soldiers in 1965 to help keep the South from falling, but the U.S. did not manage to prevent this and Vietnam became a single country in 1975. The country became the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Between three and four million Vietnamese died during the war, as did approximately two million Loa and Cambodians.

Animal Farm Comparison

With which character in Animal Farm do you most closely identify? Using examples from the novel (and a proper in text citation) justify your comparison.

I am most like Squealer because I love to talk a lot and I usually spread word around for people, such as messages or notes ( Orwell, pg. 51). Squealer makes a lot of noise whether it's just a noise or talking, so that's another reason that I am like Squealer, I love to make a lot of noise (Orwell, Squealer's name). Lastly, I like to get into the details no matter it be the spreading of word or if I'm just talking to friends ( Orwell, pg. 59).
